Yoga with Benefits

A live Zoom class for women in their 60’s.

Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, 10am Pacific.
Start anytime.
Always $99 / 30 days.

Your 60s can be the most alive decade of your life. Or not.

This is the decade when you either get better and set yourself up for a bright future, or the decline speeds up.

How you move will largely determine how you age. Movement is medicine, but not all movement is created equal.

To keep your strength, balance, grace, agility, and looks, with bones that hold you up and a pelvic floor that does its job, you need to train the right things in the right way.

After 30 years of teaching women this age, and getting older myself, I've come to a new understanding of what we actually need. These practices are advanced, age-appropriate, and not what you'll find in a typical yoga class.

Most of us have watched a mother age: the falls, the broken hip, the slow slide afterward.

You don't have to go down that road.

  • 1 in 2 women over 50 will break a bone due to osteoporosis.

  • About 1 in 4 people over 50 who break a hip die within a year.

  • More than 1 in 3 women aged 60–79 live with a pelvic floor disorder.

  • A woman in her 60s is about twice as likely to develop Alzheimer's as breast cancer.

Investing in how you move is one of the smartest things you can do about every one of these. And it's a lot easier to keep what you have than to get it back.

Who I am

I'm Richard Rahn, and I've been teaching yoga for 30 years.

Why women in their 60s? Honestly, it chose me. Women in their 60s are the ones who get this kind of yoga, and they've always been most of my students anyway. And we have a ball.
